Starting Off Your Avatar
I’ll be using Photoshop for this particular tutorial, but you can easily apply the techniques across different paint programs such as paintshoppro or GIMP. The concept will be the same, just with different buttons.First I’m going to start off with a photograph of a crazy looking bird I took.I’ll create the 100 x 100 image then paste my bird into the space.while in free transform, I’ll left click and drag on the top left corner and start scaling down the image. Once I reach the bottom right of the image I’ll release the button and then move the image and repeat. If you want to scale proportionally, hold down the shift key while scaling. Once you’ve scaled it down and positioned it, click enter to exit free transform mode.
