2024 ACF Christmas Show

2024 ACF Christmas Show

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to set my books up at my first three-day craft show: The Artists and Craftsmen of the Flathead's Christmas Show.

At first, I was a little nervous.

It was my first big show after all.

But I after talking with the other vendors, having our morning meeting on the first day, and seeing the first people entered the fairgrounds---my nerves soon faded.

Whispers of excitement came from people who walked by.

I was absolutely touched by each reader who listened to my pitch and reacted with "oooo's" and "that sounds interesting" as I shared about the stories and characters.

It's been encouraging at a time when I needed it the most.

This show proved to me that there are people who are interested in my series, those who resonate with my messages and purposes, and who care about supporting local authors and artists and those who are trying to make the world a better place, through books, through art, through jewelry, or what else it may be.

It also showed me there's a path forward for me here, following my passion, where I can do more for the world than in any previous endeavor.

And mostly importantly,

It pushed me to take the final step into selling my books. No safety net, no turning back, just me and my big flashy sign showing off The Shadow's Creed Saga: the series I've been working on for over 10 years.

If you went to the ACF 2024 Christmas show and stopped by to see me, please know how much it meant to me to hear your stories and have you share in my excitement and passion.

I hope to be back next year with another book in the series, and I'm looking forward to seeing you all again.

Thank you for taking a chance on this humble author. :)
